Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping... out of my hands. Have to keep reminding myself to breathe... in, out. Ever feel that way? -tweet of the day- Yep, that about sums it up. Took a few pics of my wall of sticky notes staring back at me right now... each one holding an important task that must be completed. That was too depressing to share. So I shot some bubbles, ironic since I'm … [Read more...]
Twitter Tuesday Featuring YOU! (2/9)

I really can't believe how quickly one week fades into another. Seems like I was just posting Twitter Tuesday and here it is again! So fun each week to see who is still working to improve their photography 300% in one year and post about it on twitter. We're getting close to 400 photographers who have signed up for tasra365. I'd love to see it reach beyond that as we continue to focus on our … [Read more...]

I won't go into all the details, but I would like to briefly share the final thoughts I have before this week wraps and we start all over again tomorrow. To top it off, tomorrow is the … [Read more...]

Today's word of the day was... EDGY. Our home and studio were temporarily taken over by teen girls in preparation for our first Teen Identity Models photo shoot of 2010. The bedroom exploded in clothes and there was a full-on salon happening with hair, makeup, nails, and stylists getting everyone ready. We're preparing to launch our new model program for 2011 Seniors and are so excited … [Read more...]
Project Smoke: The Series Continues (D141)

You'd think that photographing the same subject for days on end would get boring or old, but as it stands right now, I'm more excited about photographing smoke trails now than I was when I started. The reason is that there are so many variables that can be introduced and manipulated... it keeps it fresh and fun. Today's set up was more detailed than the last. Seems I keep introducing new … [Read more...]

Fool-Proof Strategies for Creating Stellar Images (D127)

Here's the strategy...it's quite simple really. Anyone can do it if they want to. Yes, even you. Just get together 15 of the most gorgeous teens across the country, have a stylist put together their outfits from head to toe. Then, hire professional makeup artists and hairdressers to take care of their "look" and make sure it matches the stylists' outfits. Make sure you are in a idyllic … [Read more...]
