I suppose it would help if I provided the link. I think I copied it, but then wrote a bunch more and forgot to paste it.

Yes! Glad I was able to remind you to pick it up. Perfect time to get started as you prepare for the new year! Congrats on your step up in the camera department. It does make a difference in your images and confidence when you know your camera is capable of capturing the shots you envision. Which blog are you referring to? Would love to check it out.

I bought this book some time ago, when Borders was still around and I had a fabulous coupon. It's been sitting on my shelf, just waiting for me to curl up in my Grandma chair and read it. Thank you for the reminder. I think this will be a perfect read as this year wraps up. David is one of the most encouraging, motivating, and inspiring people. I especially enjoy the rants on his blog!

I'm totally with you on the camera thing. Yes, you can get great shots with any camera, but there's something to be said for one that is actually capable of handling difficult lighting situations or whatever the case may be. I just moved up from a Rebel XS to a 60D and there is a big difference in the camera's capabilities. I'm finally stepping out of the comfort zone and moving from a photography hobby to an actual business. Fear is doing all it can to shove me back into that comfort zone, but I'm pressing on.

Speaking of which, have you been on the Make Things Happen blog? I'm loving the posts over there. Another very motivating and inspiring site (like you and David). I need those boosts on a regular basis right now or I'll just shrink back into my comfort zone.

Thanks so much Jamie! I appreciate the award. I don't usually post them on
my blog just because it's so easy to get cluttered, but I still consider it
an honor.

I seriously doubt you do this sort of thing on your blog, but I gave you an award: Blog with Substance. I particularly love what you're doing with Voices of the Victims, so if nothing else, I hope it will send a few more people your way to learn about it!
