Empowering teen girls and real women to
LIVE INSANELY GREAT.

What it Takes to Start a Revolution (D209)

There’s something in the air… time for change… a new season… do you see it… ARE YOU LISTENING?

  • Last week I read Michael Hyatt’s article about The Leadership Strategy of Jesus and the movement he started.
  • Yesterday I wrote about Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution that he’s starting in elementary schools.
  • Last night I started reading Love Mercy by novelist Lisa Samson about her heartbreaking, life-changing trip to Swaziland.
  • Today I met with a committed group of girls starting a movement to radically change the lives of teen girls everywhere.

These girls are going to change the world…
and they are going to have a blast doing it… it’s not all work and no play, just look at their silly, happy, free faces…

I am convinced that they are capable of changing, not only their world, but that of their families, friends and entire school.
Beyond that, I believe they can start a movement of positive change in their county, their state, their country.
You can follow along as these girls write and share their journey on Teen Identity Magazine online.

What it takes to start a revolution is a dedicated group of individuals willing to commit, to sacrifice, to work, to share,
and to spend their lives on behalf of others. That’s what I’m part of… that’s where Teen Identity is headed.

Tasra: This is awesome! I'm grinning from ear to ear as I look at the enthusiastic smiles of these girls. I can tell that they are motivated, excited and open to all that the world has in store for them. I am so excited to see your revolution, as well as theirs! I know that you will lead these girls into a brighter future for themselves and all of us. That makes me happy, especially since I have a son and a daughter who will benefit tomorrow from the revolution you are starting today. If I can make a contribution, please do not hesitate to call on me!

By the way, my revolution is the Indie Business Revolution!

Hello Tasra, this is a great thing that you're doing to help teens gain a brighter future and from being exploited by crazy perverts that have ruined modeling industry! I have been involved in the fashion industry for over 25 years as a photographer and mentor. I'm a former state director for the International Models Association, and served as the official photographer for the Florida's Junior Miss Pageant for over 15 years.
