If you’re ever at a loss for what to photograph, the fresh flower blooms of spring are a great place to start. Seeing new buds begin to open, green leaves begin to emerge, and brown leaves start to fade, it is a photographer’s dream time to get some amazing images of the beginning signs of life in nature.
Today I didn’t have to go far to find some signs of spring.
These beautiful yellow blooms were alive and well in my backyard, nestled against one of the tall trees.
Without any special watering, care or attention on our part, they sprang up and are in full bloom.
It’s a gardener’s dream and the power of nature… sometimes things bloom even when you haven’t done the planting.
Sometimes seeds bring forth fruit even when they haven’t been nurtured.
That’s comforting to me. To know that everything does not rest entirely on my shoulders.
I do what I can, what I’ve been created to do… and leave the rest to God.
What are you waiting to see bloom in your life?
What seeds could you start planting now in order to see a harvest in Fall?
