“The hectic pace of life is taking a toll on your body and mind.”
Andrew Weil, M.D.

Surprised? Of course not.

Want to find a solution and perhaps win a FREE BOOK in the process? Keep reading to find out how.

superstress solution book giveaway Eat Your Way Out of Stress: The Superstress Solution Book Giveaway Everyone seems to be living at a breakneck pace these days. Just take a look in the mirror and you’re sure to see some signs of the toll it’s taking on you… dark circles, bloodshot eyes, caffeine addiction (and that’s just me!) Anxious is the new normal.

I’ve always known that eating right and sleeping well makes a marked difference in how I look and feel, as well as how productive and focused I am at work. The only problem is maintaining routines among a busy work and travel schedule. Especially for creatives, entrepreneurs, photographers, writers, etc… it’s often hard to maintain boundaries on what we do and when we do it. Know what I mean?

The Superstress Solution is a new book that claims to have the remedy to:

  • Relieve headaches and anxiety
  • Restore your ability to relax and sleep well
  • Control your weight
  • Build resilience against future stress

Pretty compelling claims. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably picked up quite a few diet or health books through the years to help with some of these issues. I like the idea that this book makes the connection between stress and diet because they so often go hand in hand. Give me a stressful day and I’ll give myself more liberty to eat whatever I find handy.

I’m looking forward to reading this book in its entirety AND giving one of you a chance to WIN one too! Special thanks to the publisher for sending two copies!

HERE’S HOW TO WIN…

I'm a 40-something non-traditional college student working towards an MBA and going through a divorce. Major overload and stress in my life!!

5 kids that I homeschool (2 are grown, 1 still lives at home), normal life. That's stress enough!

Well umm…four kids, working as a full-time nurse, trying to get photography business going, and it is TAX season for my husband! I think that is enough said.

This book sounds interesting. I'm always stressed. I have two kids, work full time and then I come home and my husband works evenings. We just got a new puppy also. Sometimes I think I take on way too much!

Well, if it could rid me of migraines and stress and whatever else is wrong with me that'd be awesome!

This morning, as I was getting ready for work, packing lunches, and dictating, uh, I mean GUIDING the children getting ready for school, I realized — I am at the end of my rope. Spent. Wiped out. EXHAUSTED! Any advice on how to get out of that rut would be most welcomed!! Thanks for the chance, Tasra!!

Hi Tasra! oh boy, if this book has the answers, I would love to read them! I work 2 jobs (photographer and graphic designer), and I seem to have run out of time for sleep and exercise (I need to re-prioritize — or outsource and/or work faster, right?), and since working more (and sleeping less), I've definitely gained weight and my migraines kick in more after shooting a wedding or a long non-stop weekend of shooting and editing pix after a full week of working at my day job, and my neck seems to constantly be tight and/or hurts these days. Weeknights are dedicated also to editing pix, making albums, attending networking functions for photographers, or even teaching other photographers how to retouch and use Photoshop/Lightroom. I *know* that eating better and sleeping more would help to no end, but that's just *part* of the equation.

Out of time? Yep! Help? Yes, please! (Oh, and I read my books n' magazines on my lunch break — my one “myself” time most days during the week — so this book DEFINITELY would get read!) :-) Thanks for sharing, Tasra! :-)
