Leaving a Trail of Smoke… Smoke Trails Series Part 2 (D140)

I’m continuing the series of photographing smoke trails which I started yesterday. I really want to see how focusing on a series, even if just for a week or a few days, will improve my craft and the art of the capture.

Here are a few of my new favorite shots without the post-processing inversion or color adjustment. Straight out of camera except for a bit of sharpening. Would love to know what you think when you compare day 1 and day 2.

Images: Looked at images by Justin and Mary Marantz today during their amazing Spread the Love workshop in ATL. They seriously rocked the house.
