    Tasra,
Again, thank you so much for taking time to share with others! What I loved about “Part 2″ was hearing there is a difference between 'uncluttering' and organizing/decorating. I struggle with this because my home office is where I meet clients AND where I work, edit, design, order, etc. So, not only does my space need to function well, but look presentable at all times as well. But, beginning with 'uncluttering' helps me get it loking presentable! I am the queen of post it notes and lose scrap paper notes! You have inspired me to finish what I started with uncluttering :) I will post a before and after photo for you on my page later!

I have to say thank you for pointing out that Organizing, Decorating & uncluttering are three different things. I think that is probably one thing I've never quite grasped. Maybe that will make it work – I need to get uncluttered, I start back to school tomorrow. YEA!

I learned that my instincts to surround myself with things I love was right on. I learned Tasra might dislike WalMart as much as I do lol. The distinction between uncluttering and decorating was a whoa! moment for me. Between today and yesterdays episode I learned it's ok to get rid of the clothes I've been hanging onto that don't fit anymore because I've gained weight. They're work clothes and I don't work outside the home anymore anyway.

What grabbed me the most is Uncluttering is different than decorating. I never thought of seperating the two of them. Thanks for the inspirtaiton Tasra!!! You Rock Girl!

I was inspired how you surrounded your office area with your personal achievements. WTG, triathlete! I do like how you explain why your bedroom is the most ideal place for you at this time for your office. It made me think a little more about my bedroom and the potential it has.

As others have already commented – the importance of approaching decluttering as distinctly different from decorating and organizing. Makes the task less overwhelming. And boy, do I have a need to declutter. We live in a small space which is used not only as a home but as a home business and a creative studio. Lots of stuff – no space.

Thanks so much for doing this series Tasra! Episode 2 has impeccable timing for me personally as I just started working from home 4 days a week in order to be able to move and follow my husband as he pursues a new career. My “office” is currently located in part of our living area until I de-clutter our spare room so I definitely need to focus some uncluttering energy on my workspace for now. I, like the others so far, really appreciated what you said about the difference between uncluttering and decorating but I think my biggest take away personally was the reminder to display the things you love so that you start your day with inspiration. Too many times the urgent gets in the way of the important and before I know it, my workspace just stresses me out. So today, I am going to focus on making space for my loves so that when I wake up tomorrow morning and start work, it's already a good day. Thank you again for sharing your creative spirit, your ideas and just yourself with us — you are a breath of fresh air ;-)

Thanks for sharing your set up. I like how you surround yourself with items that are reminders of what makes you, you. I learned that uncluttering is different from organizing or decorating, which is a great distinction. I think uncluttering and organizing often get lumped together…so that's for sharing that!

Well, like most of the others, what grabbed me most was pointing out the distinction of decorating vs uncluttering. However, I'm not sure I can totally run with the idea of uncluttering without organizing. I'm concerned that if I don't do some organizing, my uncluttered area won't stay uncluttered for long.

What did I learn? That you're into photography AND you're a homeschooling mom, like me. LOL! (I just discovered you and this series tonight.)

I love this post Tasra, it is so helpful to know that uncluttering is not decorating and is not organizing. I love the idea of putting things you love around you, I have that in my home office I keep images of friends and loved ones around me. But I can tell you my editing desk in my other office is a nightmare lol so must get going and unclutter. Thank you for the inspiration will have to check out the book as well.

Thanks Devin! It was fun getting my life uncluttered… perfect job for the new year. I've been able to keep it pretty much in order through the year too so that's even better!

I loved the comment that uncluttering is not the same as decorating or organizing. The idea of reutilizing things and just having things that make you smile hit home after the above comment

I’ve been enjoying and learning from your wonderful videos! Thank you so much! Just for the future- one suggestion. I am finding that the background music is ‘cluttering” up the video! It is really annoying in the background! You are giving so much useful advice and speaking so clearly about it, that the music is just a distraction and makes it harder to focus in on what you are saying. I offer this suggestion with respect and admiration for your wonderful website! Again, thank you so much for the videos!
