We went Christmas tree shopping tonight. It’s a first for us to get our tree before December!
Last year at this time we were preparing to move cross country. Little did we know we wouldn’t see our stuff, including Christmas decorations and gifts, until an entire month later!

I saw the light illuminating these branches tonight and wanted to capture the image. I know a Christmas tree would have been more appropriate considering the circumstances, but this is what spoke to me. So this is what I’m sharing.
Short post today as I’m trying to pack it in early tonight. Been a long week, tired of the coughing. It’s taking a toll on my physical and mental energy. Want to start Monday bright and fresh. Seems lots of people have been out of commission this weekend for one reason or another. I hope that means everyone is spending quality time with family and friends!
