Some things never seem to change. Every time I go on vacation, I pack all the books, magazines, DVDs, and projects that I haven’t been able to read, watch, and do in my regular life at home. I have high hopes of being able to finally get caught up. I have visions of once and for all being able to mentally check these things off my list. It almost never happens.

This vacation it didn’t happen because I was fighting illness the entire time. Other times it doesn’t happen because I just don’t feel like doing those things. I know it’s okay and I should just stop bringing so much. I also think I should unplug the TV as soon as we arrive at any vacation spot. It’s too tempting to just watch, especially since we don’t watch TV at home.
Nevertheless, vacation is a wonderful thing. It allows your mind and body to rest. I just need to stop trying to plan so much stuff during my vacation time. Do you do the same thing?
The other thing I noticed is that you can tell a lot about a person by their choice of magazines. Take a look at my list and let me know what you see! The magazines in the pile are AfterCapture, Entrepreneur, INC., Oprah, Rangefinder, Time, and Wired.
