Today I stumbled upon some amazing images by professional photographers online and in the latest edition of Rangefinder magazine. One thing that struck me was the vibrant color I saw in so many images. I decided to use that vivid color to influence my photo of choice today.

Today’s image was shot in front of a white seamless backdrop. You can get the same setup for a reasonable price by checking out Zack Arias’ tutorial on White Seamless. I don’t have everything he mentions, but I’ve got enough to do something close.
My daughter was already wearing her green Converse so I just asked if she’d throw on her striped socks too. She loves to mismatch socks and shoes and does it without even thinking. I love that about her.
So today I’m wondering if you’re infusing color in your images. What is your color strategy and preference? Do you prefer bold, vivid colors or muted, desaturated images? Are you a warm, earth tone type of photographer or cool, blue photog? If you don’t know, take a minute and look back at your images. Do you see any patterns or a style emerging?
Manual: Page 70—Language and Image Comment. I’ve never used image comment since I don’t use the Nikon software. Do you know anyone who uses that feature?
Images: I was thrilled to see that an article of mine from my other blog was featured on StumbleUpon yesterday. So this morning I ended up spending way too much time stumbling through some popular images. Here are a few: Chema Madoz, Spirals, Cole Rise.
