“The Future Needs a Big Kiss,” is just one of the many hits U2 sang throughout the more than 2 hour concert last night. Three of the top 10 trending topics last night from midnight to 2 am EST were related to the U2 global universal webcast on YouTube. There was even a guest appearance from space! For the first time since webcast’s of worldwide events have started, I actually had a clear image and audio the entire time. Impressive.

More impressive is the long history of U2 and their string of successful hits and political and economic activism. Last night was no different. Their commitment to transforming their look, message, and music is stellar. One final thought I had as I turned off the concert near 2:30 am was that I want to be as good as they are at what I do.
Since it was past midnight and technically today, I couldn’t resist taking a few photos (of my computer screen) for today’s image of the day. Not stunning imagery, but it’s the message and the memory behind the image that make it a winner for me.
Manual: Page 21—The Memory Buffer. Didn’t even know that there was a count of the images my camera can hold in memory. Learned something new today!
Images: Viewed images of the U2 webcast online. Wanted to see what photographers live at the event were able to capture.
