How refreshing to read that you want a marriage different than what you saw growing up. I was married in 1979 (will be 29 years in May) and most of my peers were rejecting marriage for living together. We have been blessed to have had 3 grandparents and one set of parents celebrate over 50 years of marriage. The other 2 missed it due to the early deaths of their spouses. My daughters and their husbands are intending to continue the legacy of 50 plus years of marriage. I wish you all the best in your marriage.
