Bio (in his own words)
Name: Rafe Noble
Age: 24
Height: 6’0
Occupation: Bull-Rider. CHAMPION Bull Rider, except, now I’m just a has-been, I guess. But I’m not staying down for long. I don’t care what it costs me, and I’ll be a cow’s uncle if I’m gonna sit around the Silver Buckle Ranch all day nursing my wounds, nothing to do…I’m getting back on the bull. I don’t care what it costs me.
Looking for: Hey, I don’t have to go lookin’ for women. They come to me. Except, I ‘spose the truth is, I’ve never had a real girlfriend. Gets in the way of my concentration. Besides, who could keep up with me? Have to be somebody pretty special…and someone who didn’t mind a guy with a few scars… .
Rafe is the star of Book 2 in the Noble Legacy series by Susan May Warren. Remember Nick from the first book? Rafe is Nick’s younger brother and you are in for a treat with this book, not just because of the cover. Here’s a quick summary:
In less than eight seconds, two-time world champion bull rider Rafe Noble lost his title, his career, his best friend-all on the dirt floor of a noisy rodeo arena. Now he has no choice but to head back to the Silver Buckle, but not before he accidentally destroys philanthropist Katherine Breckenridge’s NY Charity event. Now she’s in town, wanting his money – or his help. And the last thing this broken bull rider is going to do is give her his heart. But Nick’s little brother is going to learn just was it takes to tame the heart of a rebel!
You can learn more about Rafe and his family, as well as check out the contest Susan is sponsoring for the tour: "Win a steak dinner with Rafe." And for those of you like me who love videos, here’s a peek at the video trailers for Reclaiming Nick and Taming Rafe.
Interested? Read the first chapter now. You’re going to love it! I’m not much of a western girl myself, but this series has been fun for me to read. It’s opened my eyes to a whole new world I know very little about. Even more than that, the characters reach in and grab your heart. They are as real as the neighbor next door and just as full of good and bad qualities. Definitely a must read. Ready to dive in? Hop on over to buy the book.
